I have one as well. If you purchased this at a gallery any artist info would be great. Maybe he/she is regional, I am in NC. My mom picked mine up from somewhere before she passed away so I have no background. The frame screams 1970 though.

I have a few friends in the art world who are trying to track him/her down. His/Her work appears to be professional, there was a no reproduce stamp on the back of my painting and the frame appears to be custom built for the canvas. I will update if I find out any more info.

Glad to see all the others who have a Fadik. Seems like he/she must be from an older gen, due to so many getting the art piece from an estate. I too have the fishing hut in the swamp on canvas, passed down from a family member. How could the texture be reporduced? The trees have texturized paint on the trunks.

I'm also looking for info on the artist who signs his paintings Fadik. I just took a painting from my late grandfather, fishing hut in the swamp. One of those things that will always remind me of my visits with him.

I love the painting, I've been intrigued with it since I was about 10... and now I'm 26, and it is the one thing I chose to take that belonged to my late grandfather.

I can feel the paint on the canvas... We did notice one mistake on it-> if it were realistic. I'm wondering if whoever else has the |Fishing Hut in the Swamp, sees the same mistake. Then maybe we will know if he had done them all individually. Also just curious.

I have a Fadik Zebra painting as well: three zebras standing in tall grass/wetlands in earthtones. My parents bought it at a yard sale in Massachusetts for about $1! I love it, and it is the centerpiece of my living room.
