Would appreciate some help in finding out some information about 3 pieces that I have by Francoise Gilot. My step father who is now deceased had a photography gallery and also sold some artwork along with framing. I now have these but have no additional information on them. One is signed in pencil "epreuve d'artiste". I have attached photos. Thanks to anyone that can shed some light on this for me.

I'm pretty sure "epreuve d'artiste" would mean "artist's proof" -- i.e. a test print created during the course of printing a numbered edition.
There are a couple of free sources of auction results online - e.g. findartinfo.com and artinfo.com. They have to be taken with a grain of salt, but overall it appears that although Gilot is quite well known, her prints are not especially valuable. But if any of those is a one-of-a-kind painting or work on paper, it could be worth quite a bit. |

Thanks John for your input. Since she was the mother of Picasso's children, I think one of them is represented in the one piece that is marked as the artists proof. Hopefully I will be able to gather some additional information on what I have.
