Default 19th Century Dutch Painter - Vrint

I own a rather large painting ( 38'' X 45" ) of an old bearded man at table with his books reading. The painting is signed G. B. Vrint not certian of the date (1800's). I know it is dutch, but I'm having trouble finding info on him.Might you be able to assist with this? Thanking you for your time.
I will try to post a photo when I can get a smaller size, thank you.

Perhaps the signature is an abbreviation of "van Rint" . You can find an auction result for a painting also of a bearded man - but smaller - attributed to one "J van Rint " here http://www.artfact.com/auction-lot/j...1-c-tniv7ub9ka
I can't find any more references, and of course auction houses can misread signatures, but I hope this is a start.

Edit:There is a Gerrit Christiaan Vrint ( 1870-1954) who mostly did still lives.

Another edit: Perhaps this is more relevant: a Jewish man reading attributed to Christiaan Gerrit Vrint http://www.carlsengallery.com/1-14-2007/CatID5/509.htm
A label on the back gives his dates as 1870-1954.

Gerrit/Christiaan was my great-great uncle, so I can provide more information if still needed.

He did portraits - we have one.
