Hello a couple of years ago I bought an unframed painting. It was from a deceased estate and they told me it was a Russian artist. It reminds me of the fairy tale scenes on a russian lacquerware box. I imagine this is the twelve dancing princesses. If anone could tell me the artist , I can not read the signature I would be very grateful. Could anyone make suggestions about the style I imagine it is one of the Russian expressionist painters but I do not know. The painting needs cleaning and looks as though it has been roughly cut out of the frame.
