Default Painting in Paris in greys of two angels looking over a battlefield

I was in Paris a few years ago and it was in either the Musee D'Orsay or Le Louvre and ther was a painting there in greys of 2 angels overlooking the destruction of a battle site. I've never been able to find out the name of the painting - does anyone know which one I'm referring to ?

Many thanks
