Default Another indescernible signature on an oil painting...

Greetings! I am hoping someone could find the generosity to help me ascertain the illegible signature on an oil painting. I have searched several signature encyclopedias and resources without any success. Attached is the image of the signature on the oil painting, which is a Pacific Island girl with a ring of red flowers around her crown. I believe the first two initials (??) are M and E. I would appreciate any guidance. Thank you very much.
