Several years ago I bought a print in the Detroit Institute of Art's gift shop, and I'd like to figure out the artist and title (I no longer have the print). I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. It was a painting of a bicyle rider. Probably sometime between 1900 and 1950, perhaps European, maybe American. It had bold, bight brush strokes- blues and reds, as I recall. Something between impressionism and modern. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I thought perhaps it was in the DIA's collection, but I haven't had any luck with online searches. Any suggestions on how to search for this painting would be appreciated.
