HELP I can't find this painting and know nothing about it.

Crazy detailed description:

It looks like it is of a child he or she is wearing a dark red hat similar to a rain cap some may call it a pumpkin orange color. The left side of the hat is slightly shaded with a dark blue. There are also larger dots in the hat for shading- lighter reds on the far left orange in the middle and yellow on the far right. the picture extends down to just below the arm-pit. The arms are extended and bent towards the face at the elbows. The head is looking up and the hands are clasped under the nose pushing it up slightly. The background is mostly a dark blue. There is some use of purple and green on the far right but other than that the picture is just this kid in a stupid red hat looking up at nothing.

When i've been looking for it all I get are the girl in the red hat picture which it is not or information about the stupid red-hat club. So PLEASE HELP! thanks

Seurat bathing at Asnieres

Check out the bottom right hand corner. Looks like what you saw may have been a detail.

WOW!!! John, Saintluc, Hercules... or whoever it was that replied to this...that was wonderful. The sketch was very well done as well jd. Beautiful painting.
