My mother told me she got the spelling of my name from a Norman Rockwell painting. She said it was of a group of boys heading back into the locker room after losing a game, probably basketball. One boy has a towel draped over his shoulder and it says "Jeffry" on it.
That's how I remember her description going. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I've never seen this picture in my 40+ years of life and I'd like to. |

All I could find was this but they aren't boys and the towel doesn't say anything.

I'm looking for a painting of a wolf peeking out from what I think was some birch trees. It was very easy to miss the wolf at first because all you could see was the eyes.Does anyone know who the artist is or what the painting is named?

Try this painting by Judy Larson.
http://bnr-art.blogspot.com/2010/03/...lish-your.html If that's not it, another artist who plays hide-and-seek with figures hidden in forests is Bev Doolittle. |
