Default identify a print -The Old Homestead

I need help identifying a framed print I inherited that needs some repairs.
It is a women standing outside a cottage or farm house drawing up water from a well. The back is covered with paper so it has no identifying marks except a stamp "The Old Homestead". I'm not been able to find anything on the internet to match the description with the name. The artists name is difficult to read, it looks like corn, but it could be corm, curm. Strange name maybe short for Cornelius. The last name is even more difficult to read, but I believe it begins with a G or a C and ends with an L. It's in a mirrored frame, so I'm afraid to have or do any work until I know more about it.
