I have a collection of Mary I Hailwood Etchings, Woodcuts, Linocuts and Ebonite Cuts. Mary Hailwood (1908-1983) exhibited paintings at the Royal Academy, London - The Salon in Paris and the bradford and Leeds Museums in the 1920's and 1930's. She was a member of the Royal Academy in London in 1935. I am wondering if anyone has any of her paintings or any information about her. Thanks for your help. pemarland

I was very interested to see your 2006 post, just found today.
I purchased a number of items at the Bateman's auction quoted in one of the reply posts. Includes three etchings - of various dates, and a miniature. I have been unable to unearth any information about Mary from my normal sources. The information that you have posted has greatly expanded my knowledge of her, for which I thank you. Have you been able to find out anything further? Thanks, Rod |

I am researching on behalf of The Miners Lamp Society, Mary's father Ernest Arthur Hailwood and would very much like to be in touch with any family members who would help me.
