Default Need help identifying equestrian painting!

Hi, I need help finding the title/artist of a painting I saw several years ago. The subject was a man (a knight I think, but I'm not sure) on a horse with a flowing black mane. The painting was in a portrait style (as in, the verticals ides of the painting were longer than the horizontal sides) and there were some trees int he background, though again I'm not sure. I know this is really vague but if it's any help I saw the painting in Wawel Castle in Krakow, Poland.
Thanks!

Wawel Castle has a website. I don't see any such work while taking a quick glance at their painting collection, but perhaps you can find it. Or you could email them and ask about the portrait.
