My mother bought this painting at a fleemarket some time ago. I would like to know more about it.
Its a painting made by an artist called. Lasander (or I am reading the signature wrong). I googled the name and found that a dutch painter is called: Lodewijk Lasander. He lived from 1896 to 1949. On this painting it seems that the painting was painted in 1979 or the 7 is suposed to be a 1. so 1919. So then it would be possible that Lodewijk Lasander is the painter. This painting is painted on wood... also kinda strange, not an expert but to my knowledge paintings are suposed to be painted on canvas. Well hope somebody can tel me more.. Pictures included Kind Regards, Don |

Hi,
The painting was made in 1979 and it's made by his son Philip Lasander. Lodewijk was his father and followed an artschool in Leiden, Holland. His son didn't, but he has had expositions in a hotel in Noordwijk long time ago. My boyfriend is the son of Philip (Flip) Lasander and i'm searching for everything about Flip and his grandpa. Flip died few years ago and his bag with every memory in it has been lost unfortunately. Kind regards, Marjan Quote:
