    looking for some help on identifing a oil painting

Default looking for some help on identifing a oil painting

does the fact that the paint is raised on the canvas mean it is a real oil painting or was there a process to make this appear as a painting, i beleive it is a real oil painting but i do not know of all reproduction processes

Yes, there have been mechanical processes designed to create real-looking brushstrokes. And there are a lot of Chinese copyists busily at work painting whatever you want for a few hundred bucks.
