Signature appears to be Prayat. I don't know much about painting so I apologize for my grotesque description.
It appears to be brown paper laid over a fabric like the one that borders it. The paper is somewhat see through and there are strips of what appears to be more paper or some other natural material with a grain running horizontal with the strip itself underneath the paper. The paper has quite a few creases and crushed looking places on it. The paint is hard. There are many brush strokes that are visible by deep gorges in the paint. I assume it is Thai because of the boat and towers, but that is just a guess. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs151....323072_n. jpg http://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos...277049_n. jpg I would be most grateful for any advice or comments you could give. Thank you. -Sean |
