Question Can someone identify this(possibly Thai?) painting?

Signature appears to be Prayat. I don't know much about painting so I apologize for my grotesque description.

It appears to be brown paper laid over a fabric like the one that borders it. The paper is somewhat see through and there are strips of what appears to be more paper or some other natural material with a grain running horizontal with the strip itself underneath the paper. The paper has quite a few creases and crushed looking places on it.

The paint is hard. There are many brush strokes that are visible by deep gorges in the paint.

I assume it is Thai because of the boat and towers, but that is just a guess.

I would be most grateful for any advice or comments you could give. Thank you.

I also have one with the same signature. it has a stamp on the back and from memory it says Rama something and police hospital. prayat pongdam did a oil painting of two boats in the 50s and there is some similarities to mine. rama 9 galleries carry his work. the university in bangkok have his works so i guess we just need an image of his signature to verify that these are indeed prayat pongdam.
