I wonder if anyone out there can help me to identify the artist of the attached painting.

The painting appears to be watercolour on board size approx 120 cm by 70 cm and the size of the board is written in pencil on the reverse in European continental numbers (i.e. with a long tail on the number "1" and with a bar through the number "7").

I read the signature as a monogram EN and written above is what appears to be the word "Carlio" although that is only my reading of it.

Any help would be much appreciated
