Red face Is this beautiful little painting an original?

What a wonderful find this board is. Would someone here please explain what I look for in the differences between a print , a reproduction and an original.........an oil and a watercolor...... I have an old painting I love and would love to know more about it. I have been online looking for answers and hopefully someone here will help me. Thank You!!

Default Delta's photo of painting

This is a photo of the painting..........taken with a camera....hope it come through . The painting/print/repro is 5x7" and has Moran 1905 in the bottom left corner. The signature was partially hidden by the frame and because it had been framed for so long ( and gone through some bad conditions) I removed the frame to look at the signature. Well, the paint/watercolor stuck in places and damaged the outer edges that were behind the frame. Thank you so much for replying.

Could be after Thomas Moran. The Moran's where a very talented family of artists. Thomas is the only one I am aware of that painted scenes of Venice.

Here is an example of his work and his signature.
