I have a Hedley Fitton lithograph. It's really old, so I think it's original. It doesn't have dots when you look at it under a loop. I'm confused though, because it says RE Proof in the left hand corner. In the right bottom corner is says ECJ, but the C is the copyright symbol I believe. It also has a signature on the bottom left in pencil that starts with an E. On the bottom right a pencil signature from Hedley Fitton. I'm curious if this is an original lithograph then or what it is. It looks like there's an area around the whole thing where there was an indention of a plate. Thanks for any help in educating me. I'm just starting to collect and I want to learn more.

Here is an example of a Hedley Fitton Litho - signature as well. As for Proof, it could be the test print for review before mass printing of the artwork. I'm sure that there are more knowledgeable members here regarding prints.
