You can see a thumbnail of the picture here:

Hello,
I am also looking for information on this picture. Have you been able to find anything on it? When I find information I also will email you back. I found a little on this, but you probably already are aware of it. I hope together we can narrow this down. Thanks, Bob

I also have this picture. I purchased from an antique shop. I was told it was a lithograph and water color painting. It is obviously very old. I wish I knew more. It is aged but beautiful. Does anyone know anything more about this painting?

I also have this painting and have been looking for a couple years for info on it, but I can find very little. Where does one look? Does anyone out there know so little about this? I'm betting that only a few of these are around and no one can trace these back to around the 1890's. We might be hanging on to something of value!

I know it's from 1850's not 1890's. You were off a few years. This might be very valuable in any condition !!!!!!! Someone told me it could be worth $3,000.00 in folded or torn condition, and great condition, possibly $6,000.00. Near mint or mint, who knows???? Also, frame is of importance! If anyone finds information, please post.

This is also stumping the appraisers. They find very little about "Last Honors To Bunny". Before going to get appraisal on this one, try to see if appraiser will charge you very little if they strike out. BE SURE TO GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH !!!!

Anyone have any updates on this painting/lithograph? How did you date the painting back to 1850? We also have one in a black textured decorative frame. It is in mint condition.

The print we have is 17' by 23'. The painting was inherited from a relative in Calmar, Iowa. Any information would be much appreciated.

Default Last Honors to Bunny art print/lithograph

This art print "Last honors to Bunny" was used as an Immigrant Mental test...
The book can be purchased by Ayer Company Publishers for about $15.95
ISBN: 0405005628. It is a reprint of the 1917ed, originally published as Public health bulletin No. 9 of the U.S. Public Health Service. This is why it hangs in the Ellis Island Musuem. I was researching the internet and saw it up for auction by Stuart Holman Auctions #69 2007 Fall Select Auction for about $100.00. Another web site: dart.fine-art.com had some conversations starting.

Default Last Honors to Bunny

I had purchased the picture at a flea market in ST.Charles, IL about three years ago. I walked away from it twice, went back the next day and bought it. On the back was taped a card with info. No. 1538 copyright 1903 McLaughlin (spelling was rough) Bros. NY (1858-1920) The Ullman Mfg. Co. New York. I would enjoy hearing of more info. on this picture. Keep the conversation going.

Default Last Honors to Bunny - what is the value?

I also have this lithograph and it is 17 by 23 in size. I looked at the Gallery thumbnail link on one of the previous replies and that print that listed for $50 to $100 is much smaller and appeared to be in a new frame. I suspect that the larger 17 by 23 size would be original, and if in a frame from that period, may be worth more. I hope so, not that I want to sell mine as my wife and I really love the picture. I purchased ours at an antique store more than ten years ago, and paid $100 for it.
