Hello,
I am also looking for information on this picture. Have you been able to find anything on it? When I find information I also will email you back. I found a little on this, but you probably already are aware of it. I hope together we can narrow this down. Thanks, Bob |

I also have this picture. I purchased from an antique shop. I was told it was a lithograph and water color painting. It is obviously very old. I wish I knew more. It is aged but beautiful. Does anyone know anything more about this painting?

I also have this painting and have been looking for a couple years for info on it, but I can find very little. Where does one look? Does anyone out there know so little about this? I'm betting that only a few of these are around and no one can trace these back to around the 1890's. We might be hanging on to something of value!

I know it's from 1850's not 1890's. You were off a few years. This might be very valuable in any condition !!!!!!! Someone told me it could be worth $3,000.00 in folded or torn condition, and great condition, possibly $6,000.00. Near mint or mint, who knows???? Also, frame is of importance! If anyone finds information, please post.

This is also stumping the appraisers. They find very little about "Last Honors To Bunny". Before going to get appraisal on this one, try to see if appraiser will charge you very little if they strike out. BE SURE TO GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH !!!!

Anyone have any updates on this painting/lithograph? How did you date the painting back to 1850? We also have one in a black textured decorative frame. It is in mint condition.
The print we have is 17' by 23'. The painting was inherited from a relative in Calmar, Iowa. Any information would be much appreciated. |

I have both pictures of set, I believe.
Last Honor to Bunny and Morning Cares of Little Folk.#1957 on the back of the frames, very old backing. Looks like little planks. It reads on backing Electro Grain Granine 1903 McLonghlin Brothers New York... Just an fyi. |

This art print "Last honors to Bunny" was used as an Immigrant Mental test...
The book can be purchased by Ayer Company Publishers for about $15.95 ISBN: 0405005628. It is a reprint of the 1917ed, originally published as Public health bulletin No. 9 of the U.S. Public Health Service. This is why it hangs in the Ellis Island Musuem. I was researching the internet and saw it up for auction by Stuart Holman Auctions #69 2007 Fall Select Auction for about $100.00. Another web site: dart.fine-art.com had some conversations starting. |
