Default Beautiful, whimsical winter scene to be ID'd.

This painting has no signature, however is very well done and I am curious as to it's origins.

It recalls vaguely the works of the french André Roz, but more probably a good amateur work

To a North American eye, it looks more like a painting in the style of "Grandma" Moses or possibly the Canadian Maud Lewis.

I definately see a resemblance but also don't think its the same painting.
Thanks for your quick and well informed reply.
