I cannot find it with any google image search.
Here's what I remember: It is a man carrying large roses (like bushels of grain or something). I think there is a car--maybe truck?--of a late forties to early sixties style. I want to say he's wearing jeans, maybe a cowboy hat? I think his shirt is unbuttoned a little. I seem to remember the sky looking a little stormy. The vehicle may be parked under a tree... For some reason, I have the word "cro-magnon" attached to the memory of the image--as if the title of the work is a variation of, or includes, the word. I have no idea who the artist may be. Does this sound familiar to anyone else? It's a beautiful piece, and I would like to have a rendition of it tattooed, but I can no longer find it. |

Thank you very much for your reply!
Unfortunately, that is not the one I'm thinking of. The style is more realistic looking. And, instead of a basket full of roses, it's as if each rose is a basket--So they're big, like a bag of cotton maybe... hmm...maybe I imagined this whole thing. |

I'm thinking of a American artist that did paintings of old gas stations, homesteads, lot's of advertising for coca cola etc. Da.. if I can remember his name. Frank someone perhaps. Been a few years since I thought of him.
