artist...TS

I am trying to identify the artist who painted a ?Scottish watercolour, signed TS 1884. It is a fishing boat scene. Any suggestions as to where I'd find an answer? It belonged to a Scottish solicitor and writer; Dr JTT Brown.

Only one Scottish "T.S." shows up in the Getty ULAN database (but too many English/British ones to itemize). He's specifically identified as a watercolorist, as opposed to simply a painter or an artist, so this seems like a good bet:

Thomas Scott (Scottish watercolorist, 1854-1927)
