It came from an Antique Dealer in Kansas City. The estate that brought it in stated the artist had done an exhibition at the Nelson Atkins Museum here in KC years ago but they could not remember the name of the artist.
Yani did an exhibit at the Nelson back in 1989. It sure looks like her early work. Anyone have contact with her to see if she remembers doing it? |

No one has stated anything yet over on the Asian Art Forum.
I've seen the other two conversations on this site and contacted the Art Teacher and she said she was going to try and contact some friends over in Munich who know Yani. She thought it was definitely by her but we shall see. |
