Hi, I am very new to this so all guidance is greatly appreciated. I recently came upon this watercolor (?). It is numbered and signed in pencil. There is also a stamp after the signature it appears to be the letters S Z and the number 8 in a triangle. It seems so familiar to me, but the signature is illegible.....James, Jane, Sam......Baines, Gaines?? Everyone who looks at is sees something different.
It has such wonderful color and the image of a man alone on the path through the trees is haunting.
Can anyone help me please? Thank you.
