i found this site to help me identify a painting my husband bought me at some yard sale a couple of years ago. It is incased in a beautiful wooden frame and I can't see the artists name because it is covered. And unfortunately the back of the fame is sealed. It is a painting of a little girl about 10 yrs old wearing a white dress dated back to at least the late 1700's or early 1800's, with a blue ribbon around her waist, standing on a beautiful country road holding a bird on her right hand that is raised in the air. There are hills with sheep on them behind her. If anyone has any answers please let me know. Thanks.

I have a painting that looks like it is from the 1700's. The girl is bald and is wearing a striped dress (orange, brown and solid top of blue/green). She is holding a bird in her left hand and the bird has striped orange and brown wings and a blue and black body. It looks as though the artist is A. Roclo Boulouger (not sure of the signature). Does anyone know of this painting and or the artist?

It's modern and the artist is Graciela Rodo Boulanger. It's probably this one, but she's done some others that are quite similar.
