I am wondering if anyone can help me find out something about this beautiful old oil painting maybe 300+, oils crackling, canvas very old with original old nails and and old frame but probably not original, unsigned. Subject matter seems to be Joan of Arc in court with King George I, knights on horseback in attendance as well as squires, light from above shining upon her. It is large about 40" with frame. Photos available by email at parisgirl2005@earthlink.net.

If the subject matter is Joan of Arc, then there is a 'Joan of Arc' exhibition takign place now in Washington DC (Corcoran Gallery of Art) - try asking the museum for assistance with identification.
