Information on two paintings, please
Hello, I inherited these paintings from my father-in-law. They are signed by "Katterfeldt" and on the back of one, there is a label that says, "Harvest Time by Katterfeld". It also has a price "$2,500. on the same label. I am attaching front and back photos. I also got a painting by the same artist with no tag on back. Both paintings are in pretty sad shape. Are they worth anything? Thanks for all your help. Margaret

A recent auction of a painting by Carl Georg Theodor Katterfeldt
I don't see the results of that particular auction (also the site is in German), but Artinfo records 3 old sales of works by this artist, all in the range of $1,000 or so. |
