Default painting title

My dad and I are looking for this painting he remembers from his grandmothers home. It is a picture of a little girl sitting on a dock she is naked but her back is to you. She has her hair in a "knot" on the top of her head. She is sitting there with her little black dog. It would be great to get some help.

This is the only one I could find, unfortunately there is only a partial name of the artist. Perhaps if they removed it from the frame more would be revealed.
This would not be difficult as it only has a cardboard backing.

Edit: The artist is Bruno Piglhein.

Default painting title PALS by Piglhein

The artisits is Elimar Ulrich Bruno Piglhein. Piglhein was born in 1848 and died in 1894
Most people recognize him only for this image also referred to as
BATHING BEAUTIES & FREUND (german for friend) or "PALS"
He had several famous pieces of art.
This appeared in 1925 in the Pictorial Review magazine.
I actually have this print, it is hanging in my mother-in-laws living room, it is framed and covered by glass, the signature "Piglhein" in visible on the bottom left side.
She just recently said to me that she is ready to part with it! Any offers?

Default Pals "Piglhein"

I have had this painting in my family for decades. It is in perfect condition. It's been in the same frame for atleast 20 plus years as well. I was just browsing the web to see what it is worth and I saw your old string about how you are looking for this. If anyone is still interested in buying this painting please contact me at vidalempire at yahoo dot com.

I also havea copy of the print ( looks like there are quite a few of them out there and we all want to know what they are worth ). Any further input would be greatly appreciated.

I also have a print of PALS by Piglein and would be willing to part with it. It is not framed, but it is in good condition.

Question Bathing Beauties and Fruend by Piglhein

Does anyone still have their print of the Bathing Beauties as mentioned in this thread--The backside of the little girl and black dog sitting on the dock???

If so, I am very interested depending on condition. This is a sentimental piece, the one in the family has been damaged. If you have one, how has it been stored? Rolled, framed, under plastic or glass, non-smoking environment?

Please let me know. purplesandgreens@gmail.com
Thank you so much!

my wife and I recently went through some old boxes that were from her Mom's estate. We came across a litho of BB. It is in the original plastic wrap along with a beige frame. It has never been opened. Is this a piece that you may be interested in?

Yes it is!
What would you be asking for it. The rolled up print is all. I am a framer. Where would it be shipping from?

Yes, it is the one. How much would you be asking for the print only? I am a framer, so I don't need the frame. Where would you be shipping from. Feel free to use my email address on my previous posting.
Thanks! Angela
