Default Need Help identifing painting

Hello Everyone,

We have been scouring the web trying to find the artist or painting with no luck. Our problem is the signature isn't readable.

I've attached the pictures to this post. The signature picture has a number that says 414/1000 and then a name we can't make out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Donnie

Same print for sale on ebay. The seller suggests that it could be by Howard Terpning. I'm not that convinced. If you zoom in on the lower right corner you can see another signature dated 1978. Terpning dated his work.

I lightened up the signature that you provided.

Your print would be #414 of 1000

Yes, the signature looks Asian and the girl is Asian, so that's where I would look. Terpning did Western scenes.

Kee Fung Ng is retired now and his Gallery in Chinatown on Grant Ave.in SF is closed. I was unable to locate any email contact. Apparently the 'New Star' Chinese Restaurant in Illinois displays a lot of his work.
