Hello, I registered because I'm in a bind and could use your help (or directions to where I might find help).
I have photos of two paintings I need to identify. I know NOTHING about them other than what is visible in the pictures. Any help would be (humbly, gratefully) appreciated. ![]() ![]() |

They look like true masterpieces (or copies of masterpieces). Unfortunately I don't have any specific suggestions at the moment. (The main reason I'm posting is to reassure you that people will be looking at the paintings and something may come of it.)
I feel the dog in the first painting is a clue -- I think I have seen generally similar dogs in other paintings. |

Thank you. I've tried Googling the descriptions but it doesn't really help. I'm not even sure what the paintings show--is that stone cross a grave? A marker? Is she a mother? Is the red curtain important in the other one? Etc.
Any help people can give is appreciated. |
