Can anyone help me with the name of the artist who painted this image of St Joseph holding the infant Jesus? I have a photograph of it, and not the painting itself.
Also, is the original on display anywhere? Thank you tmc |

When I try to unzip this I get an error message that the file is damaged.
Is this the painting? ![]() Guido Reni b.1575/d.1642 Saint Joseph with the Infant Jesus (1635, 126x101cm) _ The resting Mary in the background indicates that the scene is connected with the flight of the Holy Family to Egypt. I have now seen enough paintings of Joseph and Jesus that I would definitely recognize them on the street.
No joy on this one. |

hello.. I have a very large, very old painting of St.Joseph that is either the same artist or perhaps the same painting as the one in the picture that you had shown last year in May. There is no signature visible..but I have never removed the frame to check beneath it. |
