Unregistered

Hi there, When my mother was alive she was a bit of a copy artist, any picture that took her fancy in a book or magazine she would delight in copying it. I have since inherited a watercolor copy of a painting she did from a magazine many years ago of a woman dressed in black grecian type robes standing forlornly at what appears to be the village well while the rest of the village woman are filling their water jugs and ignoring her.Pencilled on the back of the watercolor 'The Captive Andromeda' , I shall endeavor to attach a photo.
Searching the internet has produced negatve results,many paintings of Andromeda, but have not been able to find this one.
Any help in identifying the original artist and info about the painting would be greatly appreciated as friends who see it invarably ask about it and I am at a loss to answer them.
