My mum has asked me to sell an old painting for her as she is moving house. We don't know much about it and despite internet searches I can't seem to work out who the artist is and if he/ she is well known.

It was purchased in the US in 1978 but that's all we know. The artist has signed Milard/ Millard on the front as the photos show.

If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful to hear from you.
