This is The Secret, by Joanne Pemberton-Longman. Apparently it was a semi-popular print, as there are a few others online who have posted questions about it. Are you sure this is a painting, or is it a print of some kind?

It's likely a canvas print.

Without checking the Internet for anything that might be currently for sale, I would suggest eBay. Do a search there, and if nothing comes up you can "save" the search and you will get an email if the item is ever listed in the future.

There are 2 sister paintings to Secret, lady in blue gown , called 'Sound of Music' & another in yellow gown & bonnet. I'm looking for name of that one so I can try & find it. Prints of the first 2, 20X24, are offered on Ebay presently. Hope this helps !

Default Pink Lady

I am very interested in locating a print of the Pink Lady that goes with the Blue Lady print called "Sound of Music". I have just learned there could possibly be another print in this collection of a lady in a yellow bonnet by this same artist, Joanne Pemberton-Longman. I would greatly appreciate any information that could be shared.

Thank you.

I am interested in this painting of the Pink Lady. Do you know anything about another painting by the same artist that goes in this collection with the Blue Lady, called Sound of Music? I hope to hear back soon. Thank you. Trisha Conrad

Hi, I just came across The Sound of Music on canvas, 20x24, in oil at a local consignment store and I was pondering it's history and value. It's probably a beautiful oil reproduction. I'm not familiar with the copying techniques of that time. The painting has consistant cracking throughout, and examining the back it's hand stretched canvas roughly cut, almost torn leftover edges, making it look handmade, and definitely looks 40+ years old. Someone enlighten me. thanks Tom

Default Joanne Pemberton Longman

hi, I just purchased a Sound of Music in oil on canvas 20x24 at a local consignment store and did not know it was a Joanne Pemberton Longman until I started researching this morning. I just knew it was beautiful. I was pondering the same questions myself as "style" and just discovered the name of the artist as it was signed in initials. It is on a homemade stretched canvas. It is gorgeous and appears to be about 40 yrs old as the paint has a consistant cracking pattern to it. I was going to attach a picture for viewing but can't find the option. Tom
