Hi,
I am a fine artist living in Leeds, uk. I have the opportunity to exhibit an art work in an open exhibition. All was going well, I have the painting. It's an unusual oil painting, size 30cmby67cm. (I call it widescreen). It's a portrait. I have made the frame, stretched the canvas, sized and primed it. It has taken between 3-5 days in all. However, the gallery has asked on it's submission form, for a selling price, and I haven't a clue how to work this out. I have trawled the internet but there are no formulas that I can see. Up to now I have only made art for charities or family members, also I usually work in textiles. So I am stuck! Any help will be appreciated. Thanking you in advance JAG |
