I am thinking of this painting it looks like a Waterhouse or a Bouguereau and it has pink flowers swirling throughout it and there is a distinct marble pillar in it toward the right side of the painting.
The other is a bright panting of a man holding part of his garb above his head with both of his arms almost a crecent shape... it was very satin white and subtle. I can't remember the names of the artists who made those paintings. any help is appreciated , James |

#1 is probably Lawrence Alma-Tadema's The Roses of Heliogabalus.
