help with painting identify
I inherited this painting from my mother
can anyone help me identify the artist? before she died, she told me it was worth $25,000 I am desperate finncially, any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |

I believe the signature says "Gris". I'm not an art expert, but I'd judge the artist is unlikely to be Juan Gris (a painter who worked with Picasso and who is quite famous). We have another thread about several people who own paintings signed "Gris":
