Hi,
I've been looking for a painting for my boyfriend; he saw this painting a few years ago and fell utterly in love with this picture. Sadly, the only thing he could tell me about it to help him looking all over google and books, was the description of the painting. I believe it's from early SXX, but I really don't know. Well, it goes like this: It's a man standing in a field, screaming with a bag on his head, asphyxiating him. That's all I know. Thanks for looking into this, and sorry for the lousy english! |

Is this a surreal painting? Sounds almost like 'The Scream' by Edvard Munch. No field,no bag.

No, I'm almost sure isn't this one. To me, as he described it sounded more like "The Lovers" by Magritte.
I already showed him surrealist artist, but he says isn't quite like that. I'm really lost at this point. Nonetheless, thanks for the reply. |

This is a real longshot, but it sounds like the kind of thing that Odd Nerdrum would paint.
