People sponsor the building of art museum,now i wants to know the benefits of sponsoring the building of a fine art museum to a corporate body what are they expecting to gain back in such a venture thanks

Most of the really significant donations to museums I can think of were from private individuals who were extremely wealthy and who were committed to the arts.
As for companies, I guess the basic thing they are looking for is to be seen as good corporate citizens, especially by the intellectual/cultural elite. Also, they often want to enhance their brand image by borrowing some of the cachet of the museum. |

Corporations are cold entities. Money, money, money is the bottom line. No artistic talent there, no appreciation of art, it's all about the money. Curses on this capitalistic society!! |

I don't know it its like that everywhere, but I know that here in canada, if you give a piece of art to the National Art Gallery or any museum, you will receive a tax deduction of the value of the painting/work of art.
Only thing, is you have to have an important art to be accepted. |
