Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this site, have been collecting for many years. I have several pieces of original art that I've picked up at estate sales over the years gathering dust in my attic, and am wondering if anyone can help me ID the artists. I've spent exhaustive time on the internet, but to no avail. Any comments or info will be greatly appreciated. Please use the below link. Best, Nancy http://gallery.me.com/nancypigtunia#100279 |

Have a few of these myself, also from the eighties. I rather doubt that we will ever be able to identify the artists. I believe that they could be done by art students studying in Paris and sold to the tourist trade in the Montmartre district, or possibly Parisians that make their living doing such watercolours.
Here are mine, done by someone named Georges. I could not decipher yours. |

Hi Eirene, Thanks for sharing your images, they're lovely. Yes, the theme is certainly the same in the 1st two. I suspect you've nailed it.....a common Parisian street scene, popular with tourists. Another mystery solved! Best, Nancy |
