Default "The silent witness" by Herbert Schmalz

I hope somebody will be able to help with information on or value of the following print. I have an engraving of " Silent witnessawn at Ypres Cathedrel AD1915" The title is in pencil and it is signed by the artist in pencil.
In very small print it says Copywrite in United States by Alfred Bell & Co, 6 Bond St, London. Copywrite Oct 1, 1917. The print measures 75cmx56cm approx. It has a large old brown frame, probably contemperary, which measures 109cmx90cm approx. I would be pleased to have opinions on this beautiful print. I think it may be a mezzotint.
