Mixed Media Abstract NV62
Hi Everyone,
Wondering if anyone recognizes the monogram on this mixed media...appears to be a combination of watercolor, crayon, and possibly marker pens. Looks like NV62. I've searched & searched to no avail. Thanks for any help! Best, Nancy http://gallery.me.com/nancypigtunia#100344 |

On the chance that the symbol means "N.V. '62", how about Nadine Valenti, born 1928, married to artist Robert Beauchamp? She's the only artist from my files who looks possible. I can't find a single example of her work online, so I don't know if she's a fit or not.

Hi John,
Thanks for your response. I did think 62 might be a date reference. You're right, there isn't an example of Nadine Valenti's work to be found online, although she is mentioned in several articles, and listed in the Clara database of women artists. I'll keep poking around. Best, Nancy |
