I need help
Attached are pictures of an oil painting my wifes grandfather bought around Germany around 1914 or so. I have found no signature. My family would love to know anything about it. We would love to know who painted it.

I wonder if it is depicting Venus & Mars? Have you looked under the frame for a signature?
