Many years ago I was in a college trip to Rome, and had the pleasure of viewing Michelangelo's David. Our tour guide told us that Michelangelo had hidden a profile of his own face in the flowing beard of Moses, which we could view from the side.

I've been trying to find a reference to this, and especially a picture. Does anybody have a source for this, if it's true? I'd love to see a pic. I've done the google thing, but thus far no help.
