It is definitely my favourite, but I dont know the name of the artist or the painting.
Bit of a random request but Ill try and give as many details of my memory of it and see if anyone can help. Its a long shot but worth a go. The painting is a picture of part of a city, its like a road junction, it has traffic lights in it, in colour it is predominantly grey. The painting is made up of dots, maybe not pointillism but bigger dots, the painting is punctuated by the big red dots of lit traffic lights. The painting is very large in size probably around 3 metres by 2 metres (perhaps larger). It was at the tate modern between 2002 and 2003. Any ideas or help would be fantastic but as I say its a real long shot. I may be misremembering but I think the name of the artist might have been Braun or something like that. |
