who is etienne?
the artist's name looks like 'etienne' - who painted this? the image is a large oil on canvas of women dancing with each other, wearing veils and not much else...

Could you post a picture of the whole painting? I can't make out the initial of the given name.There are a number of artists with this name as a given name.
The one that does work similar to your description is Etienne Dinet, however, the signature is E. Dinet. There is a Haitian artist by the name of Jean Bernard Etienne. http://www.carrieartcollection.com/g...s/etienne.html |
