Hello!

A friend of my father's found this painting in a barn and has been trying to identify it for for a while now. I found this forum and thought it might be worth a shot to post it here, and see if anyone recognizes it. I assumed to begin with that it was a piece of local art, but the painting seems very familiar, like I just can't place it.
