for about 20 years I have had this watercolor? hanging on my wall. but I know nothing about it can anyone help?
I am not good at this on line thing, and dont know how to load my pictures to this post so I hope I can be descriptive. Matted approx 12x14 image of a figure against a brown/grey/blue pannel like background very indistinct. The floor is light colored with bule shaddow. The figure has a very pleasant face and is standing on one leg with the other raised, dancing? or like a crane?pose, wearing a white coat? withvery big floppy white sleaves and a hat (that kinda looks dutch) The skirt? has folds and is blue as are the slippers. Across the body from left shoulder is a red sash with gold kanji. In the lower right is written in print, MARTIN written in black. I dont know who MARTIN is, or if this is a happy person or a death dance? any ideas anyone? EDITED: I am trying to include pictures from facebook 'link' (worked on the post 'Frustrated' http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...l=c619e473f 7 Last edited by hilomoon : September 21st, 2010 at 10:09 PM. |
