I have a painting sold by Merrill Chase Galleries. MCG has since closed and I have no way of identifying the artist. Any clues? It is a city street, possibly after a rain, as there seems to be either reflections of the people's images on the street (or maybe they are just shadows) The only colors are grays and faint taupes. The back is stamped with studio D'Arte Italia which for all I know is the brand of canvas used but if it helps in identifying it, I thought I'd toss that in there.

I have tried to guess at the artist's name: Phalli, Phatti, Theatti, Tholti, etc and am coming up dry when I search it online.
